Meet the Team

The Bottle Is the Brush.

It started with a simple frustration: why do you need a can of paint and a separate brush just to fix one little scuff? So we built them into one.

Mr. Brushable makes touch-up paint where the bottle is the brush. Squeeze, brush it on, cap it. Walls, trim, doors, cabinets and furniture, with no can to pry open, no brush to wash and no mess to clean up.

Meet the Inventor

David Kermit Sparks, Sr.

David Kermit Sparks, Sr., inventor of Mr. Brushable, holding a yellow Mr. Brushable touch-up paint bottle with the brush built in

For twenty years, David carried one idea and refused to let it go: a disposable paint bottle with a built-in brush. A simple tool that puts the paint and the applicator in one hand, with no spills, no mess, and no cleanup. When the job is done, you throw it away. His motto says it all: Sauce it and toss it.

What started as a spark of an idea grew through two decades of sketches, prototypes, failures, and redesigns into Mr. Brushable®: patent pending, built from working prototypes, and now on sale. Many people have ideas; far fewer spend twenty years shaping one into something real. David did, because he believes good inventions don't have to be complicated. They just have to make someone's life a little easier.

His dream is to dedicate his life fully to invention: to bring this product to artists, hobbyists, homeowners, and anyone who has ever been frustrated by the mess of painting, and to keep creating practical tools that solve everyday problems.

Mr. Brushable® by Sparks is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
