Touch-Up Paint FAQ

What is Mr. Brushable?

Mr. Brushable is touch-up paint with the brush built into the bottle. You squeeze paint into the brush, brush it over the scuff, and cap it. No can, tray or separate brush needed. It was invented by David Sparks and is patent pending.

What can I use it on?

Walls, trim, baseboards, doors, door frames, cabinets and railings, inside or outside. For wood furniture and floors, use Mr. Brushable Wood Stain + Poly.

What colors and sizes are available?

Our built-in brush touch-up paint is available in multiple colors and 4 oz or 6 oz sizes, starting at $10.99. Check the touch-up paint product page for current color choices, sizes and prices. For larger flat areas, choose the roller bottle. For marks that may bleed through paint, see our separate stain-blocking primer.

My wall isn't one of your colors. Can you match it?

Yes. Snap a photo with our free Color Match tool. We'll estimate your wall color from the photo and mix a custom touch-up paint. Photo matching is an estimate: lighting, camera settings and paint age affect the result. Test a hidden spot first.

Can I use my own leftover paint?

Yes. Order the Mr. Brushable Empty Touch-Up Paint Bottle ($7.99) and pour in the paint you already have. You get an exact color and sheen match.

Will it match my wall's finish?

Stock brush-bottle colors and Custom Color Match paint are semi-gloss. Many walls are flat or eggshell, so color matching alone does not match the sheen. For the closest color and sheen match, use your original leftover paint in the Empty Bottle. Always test a hidden spot first.

How do I keep the touch-up from showing?

  1. Wipe the spot clean first. Some scuffs are just dirt and come off.
  2. Apply a thin coat only on the mark.
  3. Feather the edges outward.
  4. Let it dry and add a second thin coat if needed.

What about nail holes, dents or stains?

For holes and dents, use the Nail Hole Filler & Wall Repair Kit to patch, sand and paint. For stains that bleed through, apply Stain Blocker first, then paint over it.

What about bigger scuffed areas?

Use the Mr. Brushable Roller Bottle, which has a small roller built in for larger patches.

Who uses Mr. Brushable?

Homeowners, renters doing move-out touch-ups, landlords, realtors staging homes, and handymen who touch up every day.

How do I contact you?

Call (980) 565-1803 or email mrbrushable@gmail.com. Mr. Brushable LLC is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Which touch-up paint applicator should I choose?

Choose the built-in brush bottle for small chips, edges and trim; the roller bottle for larger flat patches; or the wall repair kit when a nail hole needs filling before painting. Have your original paint? Choose an empty refillable applicator. Compare the options in our wall touch-up guide.
